SPECIAL EDITION JERSEYS WITH WARNER BROS DC Comics
DC and G2 joined forces for the conception of 2 unique special edition G2 x WB Jerseys, worn during 2 competitions, each synergizing and representing one character from the Warner Bros universe. The first collab was the G2 2023 MSI jersey, where G2 and The Joker mixed their mischievous energy in an iconic jersey design, followed by the CS:GO Superman jersey a few months later, and a Batman merch collab.
Stefan Hausberg, VP of Consumer Products at Warner Bros. Discovery commented on the brand collaboration: “The cooperation with G2 Esports is very exciting for us. Our world-renowned DC superheroes are a perfect match for the heroes of G2 Esports. We are looking forward to an amazing launch of prestige jerseys with The Joker and more for the upcoming esports tournaments.”
JOKER JERSEY
Worn during the LoL Mid Season Invitational, we revealed it in a very G2 way, gathering 24.6M views.
SUPERMAN JERSEY
The second piece produced was the CS:GO x Superman jersey. The G2 roster wore it during the CS:GO BLAST Paris Major, which gathered a total of 15.7M views.
BATMAN MERCH COLLAB
The last piece of the puzzle was a Batman merch collab, crafted to fit the identity of both brands. The collection was highlighted by a Batman themed photoshoot featuring the star players of G2 rosters.
Influencer Emily Ghoul also partnered with G2 to promote the Batman collection.
